Knowledge doesn’t always give benefit unless you’re doing a crossword. But to experience something can change life, bring memories and teach things not found in books. Yes, some things are better to only have knowledge about.

But if you know about a sunset or ice cream but never experience them… what good is the knowledge?

“The only source of knowledge is experience.” Albert Einstein

“Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.” Eph 3:18-19

Okay, I must admit I didn’t follow instructions, I read your entire post before responding, but I agree that knowledge has it’s limitations if not coupled with experience. In the spiritual realm, couldn’t we all benefit by more time spent with God rather than more knowledge of Him? That is not to say that learning about God isn’t important and maybe even vital, but knowing ABOUT Him and TRULY KNOWING Him is a big difference.

p.s. Your painting is beautiful, I love all the brilliant colors.
