How often are you saying to yourself things like this:

You blew it this time.

That was dumb.

They’ll never forgive you.

We might even be saying worse things to ourselves than we to do others.

Some call that humility. You might understand more my previous ponderings.

From the very beginning –

God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27

And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:49

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Dear ones – watch your words to self AND others. How can we love others fully if we aren’t loving ourselves well?
