playing cat and mouse

Calli is taking this quite personally. I’m proud.

I had home weatherization done which should have sealed things up tighter. Apparently not.

Calli’s been stalking in the unfinished basement. She’s finding little friends and introducing them upstairs. Three baby mice got released in the garden to save them from being cat toys. How many more are there?

How often do we think our life is sealed, covered and safe – yet through unknown places, the unwanted enters in?

Do you panic?
Do you ask someone to rescue you?
Do you try to fix on your own or go to God?

When things seem overwhelming and out of control, I seek God’s Word and find rest. I suggest a good dose of Ephesians 6.

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15

Stand firm with your armor and you can slay the dragons and mice that want you afraid! Daddy really has taken care of it all.
