seriously – you’ve got to be kidding

In Haiti a photo is usually a serious thing. To capture a smile you have to click extra times while they are preparing for the shot.

How often in our lives do we do the same?

We hide the smiles, we hide the joy because it’s not the appropriate place to let our excitement show. What if we were to laugh, smile and share happiness more?

Do you think it could be infectious?
Could it make a sad time bearable?
Would others want to be around you?

I’m not talking the overkill part of always being sappy sweet.

I was pretty sick last week and found it difficult, but this week…I want it back.

A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22

It does make the days a bit brighter for ourselves and others. And it’s sooooo good for the soul!
