treasures are everywhere

We brought lunch with us in the boats and found an island shore for a little break. Nature called us to investigate.

I was surprised to see the uniquely shaped “rocks” in the water and on the shore. After showing others, we all started looking for more of these treasures. Wondering what could these be?

Did someone clean out a pottery studio?
Were these from the Indian’s?
Maybe petrified goose droppings?

How often do we give a story when we don’t really know what is true?

Creative labels aren’t always bad but I’m feeling the need to dig a little deeper before I jump to conclusions nowadays. Giving grace and breathing room before labeling – especially when dealing with others.

Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32

  1. Labels are occasionally kind, sometimes helpful, very often misleading. I love your encouragement to give grace and breathing room and to ‘dig deeper’. You have a very thoughtful and lovely blog. I plan to return often. Thank you.
