where’s the map

Day of Paradise - oil on canvas

Is your journey moving so fast you don’t have time to figure out the directions?

Mine seems to be.

Will “recalculating” messages really help?

Emails from Haiti and Guatemala and a phone call from Colombia were missed while I was in the snow of Holland. I wonder again if I’m taking wrong turns.

Some say I over-analyze but I so want to be about helping others in a more personal way instead of in an office…

Looking at it one way, you could say, “Anything goes. Because of God’s immense generosity and grace, we don’t have to dissect and scrutinize every action to see if it will pass muster.” But the point is not to just get by. We want to live well, but our foremost efforts should be to help others live well.
1 Corinthians 10: 23-24

  1. “But the point is not to just get by.”
Convicted! Often times I get so busy I do this and I cannot stand to just skim the top. It makes me frustrated that my focus is spread too thin, I do not take the time to listen for God’s direction.

Today is a new opportunity to do more and be more for God.

  2. Richard L Rice says:

One of my faves: The steps of a good [wo]man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in [her] way. Though [s]he fall, [s]he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds [her] with His hand. (Psalm 37:23-24).

    Love you Judi!
