down the drain

Two weeks of very busy makes one worn.

Not too profound – sometimes it’s only two days or two minutes.

I’m not thinking of the time down the drain though or I might get tangled in that messy clog of hair and goo.

It’s difficult to be around not so positive attitudes and comments. It tries to rub off, creep in, and take over. You feel like you need a bath.

The best cleansing – His Word. I am regularly saying, “I take all thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ.” It’s not about chapter and verse or exact words, but verbally saying, praying, and believing.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Stand strong – on His Word – then you’re armed and dangerous!
