saying goodbye

Peaceful Reflections

Then Paul went down on his knees, all of them kneeling with him, and prayed. And then a river of tears. Much clinging to Paul, not wanting to let him go. They knew they would never see him again—he had told them quite plainly. The pain cut deep. Then, bravely, they walked him down to the ship. Acts 20:36-38

In my office three people have lost a parent in two weeks time. Emotions are not usually ones of strength in loss or separation but yet we do our best to “bravely” move forward.

Debby had a very moving post about the separation she has experienced.

My prayers are for His comfort and peace for all facing similar circumstances.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
