mysterious treasures

Sometimes verses capture you and you want to pull them apart and see how they come back together. Other times you just absorb the big picture.

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.
Colossians 2:2-4

…from Chapter 1.

“The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:26-27

In Christ – Christ in you.

No extras from me today…just prayers to know more of Christ and His kingdom treasures.

  1. “I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.” – this is the particular sentence I’m drawn to today. It’s close to home with some things happening around us and gives me comfort. God’s time, God’s people. Thank you
