time to remember

My dad who served in Korea and died when I was a teen. Thank you dad – miss you!

Memorial day celebrations and remembrances will be shared all around. Honoring those who have fought for our country and our freedom, those who gave their lives so that we could live. We give thanks.

I think of Jesus – the sacrifice of His life in the biggest battle of this world. The disciples and the battles they waged to bring awareness that the Kingdom is here. Thank you God!

Honoring – paying homage, holding in high esteem, giving thanks and respect.

A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.
~Joseph Campbell

Thank you Lord for all of those hero’s who have given all. We honor them and pray peace for their families and friends.
