He took him outside and said, “Look up at the heavens and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Genesis 15:5

Abram was worrying he had no heir. He was doing great things and having visions and words from God that didn’t make sense. He questioned, he listened, and he believed God was faithful to complete what He promised. Abram did not stay in the “woe is me” tent very long…
he got outside and looked up…

We lose perspective when we lose sight of the promises of God.

God wanted to remind Abraham of just how big He was, so He told him to do a little stargazing. I think it was God’s way of saying, “Don’t put an eight-foot ceiling on what I can do.” Mark Batterson Wild Goose Chase

Don’t limit yourself or Your God…immeasurably more than we ask or imagined….Eph 3:20

    • Hi Dave – saw your site….wonderful creative mission! Wish you were closer. This piece is on 6×6 claybord with fluid acrylic mix backgrounds then use water soluble oil on top. Reminds me of polishing shoes long ago. If too much…rub it off or use rubbing alcohol 70%. to remove. Signature is use of copper in each of them. Experimenting with my friend Julie Quinn’s process. Check her out, you’ll love His messages through her work.

I am using this process at home…it’s a bit messy for using during worship. There I use water soluble oils on canvas and just getting to know some other creatives to bring into the process.
