live in unity

Comparisons, disagreements, jealousy and more keep us from coming together. Yet we are all the same…we come from dust, from dirt and Christ has given His all for every one of us.

Often we are told to ignore, stay away, protect.
Is that showing love?
Sometimes, but not usually.

Reach out. Care. Embrace.

Psalm 133
How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.

Showing love is not about meeting everyone’s needs but continuing to care and be kind. Alanon really helped me see that I am not the Savior – it is Jesus. Sometimes love is surrendering others to Him and walking beside them…even if from a distance.

  1. RCE – you’re spot on, Judi!
We talk a lot more about “tough love” than how tough it is to really step out and love!
I’m taking your post to heart.

  2. I’ve tagged you in a “blogathon.” Don’t feel obligated to follow “the rules,” if you don’t want to. Just paying tribute to my enjoyment of your blog.

  3. I feel this deep in my heart. Thank you for writing it. Real unity only comes through the power of God’s Spirit in us. May we surrender fully, allowing Him to knit us together according to His perfect design. May we grow up in love, becoming the body of Christ!!
