That’s what social media is about, right? I think if I shared ALL, you would walk away more confused…another reason I limit post size….usually!
And just to be honest…I don’t feel it’s the “author of confusion”, just those points where reality, logic, and God’s plan do not always align.
Reading the Bible many stories bring you confusing thoughts… Jesus led a sin free life and yet how did it end for him? Others who did horrible things were people God loved and honored.
So as we go through life and find difficult people, we have to look through the eyes of God and see what He sees. Many have hidden gems the world needs and we are part of uncovering and shining them up.
Someone is hurt and retaliates in anger.
Another alone is seeking poisonous comfort.
One living in fear attacks others to keep distance.
There are many reactions to those buried and often unknown feelings. Most important is our reactions to them and showing them the jewels of His truth.
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35
How short we come of living that verse. One to keep in front of me always. Thanks Judi!
Love looks so different with each person we meet Debby. We definitely need His help to do it! Bless you!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, Judi. My heart has been tugged in this direction with similar thoughts lately, too…So many people are trapped and scared and hurting. We can’t possibly understand what they are going through or where they are coming through. What we can do is love them and have compassion on them. Thank you for this post. Prayed for you and your mom this AM. Love & hugs!
*typo: “where they are coming FROM (not through)
P.S. My blog post today (river of love) was a heart response to yours in a way…after reading your post, I just couldn’t hold in what I am feeling, hearing and thinking any longer! Thank you 🙂
It can be difficult to relate to all with His agape love. Thanks so very much for the continued prayers. Some ups and downs but lately more up motion!! Praise God!! love & hugs to you too!
beautiful my friend….. “Most important is our reactions to them and showing them the jewels of His truth.” We are most responsible for our reactions and action…. hugs thank you for reminding us of this powerful truth .
Nancy
I have been letting my own reactions lead in a few places. Time for a detox :O) Big hugs to you Nancy!
