height of success

dragon arumIt is garden season.
I understand that not everyone finds gardening to be a good thing. I almost killed a tomato plant while trying to save it. oops…

Tuesday must have been the “Grand Opening” for this Dragon Arum. A friend was over and it seemed almost peak. When Thursday came and mom was visiting, it was already starting it’s discoloration.

We so often measure success as something that continues AND with no wavering whatsoever. But each day has its own measure…or rather it should. We’ve become so focused on five year, when kids graduate, retirement or some other goal, we don’t dare list dusting as an accomplishment.

For you today – getting dressed on your own might be the greatest success you need.

Celebrate something each day.
Future goals and plans are wonderful but don’t forget to smell the roses too.

The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad. Psalm 118:24
