limited potential

rosofsharonThis weekend, from screened in porch…the one with 112 little window panes to wash…I spot across the way, my neighbors Rose of Sharon. She loves to keep it need and trimmed.

One bloom was seen. Many blooms were told it wasn’t their time when it was trimmed before the blossom.

This isn’t a lesson on gardening but a premature trimming will limit our own blossoms and fruit.

Are there places in your life where you “cut” what you thought was out of hand and didn’t wait to see the glory God hand in mind?

Sometimes it is through the wildness and untamed territory where we find the real treasures. Don’t get impatient if you feel the message is to wait. His timing is always better than ours!

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
Psalm 5:3

    • Sometimes you have to let the river flow Nat. Then decide how to reign it in. He trusts you so trust yourself too! Thanks for prayers…all went very well.
