never alone

Coming Home

Coming Home

Do you need encouragement?
Are you feeling you don’t measure up?
Is fear, lack, or something else holding you back?

Seeking the best that God has for our lives is not without a cost.
But you don’t have to cut the trail yourself.

God is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry. Deuteronomy 31:8

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
Hebrews 12:1-3

  1. Seeing this post title made me smile and I kept smiling as I read on. The Five-minute Friday blogging I participate in had “together” as it’s prompt today. Together, with the Three, and we are never alone. Such encouraging words here, as always, Jude. Thank you! ❤

    • I’m trying to do more of your Five Minute posts right here. When thoughts come, create! He never leaves us or forsakes us…His blessings to you and yours (that’s a big clan!)

    • I like that description. “The palace awaits – are you willing to journey to it?” Prayers for even MORE of His wisdom and revelation as you share through your art!

As always, thank you for your encouraging words. I am always blessed when I visit “It’s Not Really About Me”. And the painting is absolutely gorgeous. God has really gifted you with the talent of expressing Him through your art work. May God richly bless you today.
