Is your life going at a nice even keel?
Do you feel comfortable or are waves started to hit the boat?
Waves are not always bad.
Change is often the best thing for us.
It’s been quite a year of change.
Mom is still finding her new norm.
I have one more day at my nursery job.
I have been taking time with my personal journal, Bible and prayer. Seeing so much GREAT change to life these past years as God shapes and teaches me. Along with cleaning basement, closets and even the spice cabinet. Everyone needs a little spice – right?
Often change is time for cleansing and preparing for what is next. I love how John explained change through baptisms –
“I’m baptizing you here in the river, turning your old life in for a kingdom life. The real action comes next: The main character in this drama—compared to him I’m a mere stagehand—will ignite the kingdom life within you, a fire within you, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.” Matthew 3:11-12
Thank you Lord that You know how to use change for great new things!
