For many this will be a tough week.
Struggling to hang on to joy as loved ones fade.
Remembering happier times when ‘life’ was different.
Trying to share love with dysfunctional family. We all have dysfunction, but yes, for some this is a very hard part of Christmas.
A very big lesson I have learned these past years is that JOY is not in circumstances. JOY is not found in people, things or new electronics. JOY is found with Christ and He is what should be the ‘hallmark’ of the season. It’s not about missed Christmas cards, presents, caroling, or kind words. It is celebrating that Jesus, the Messiah, was born. A Savior for all.
