do you dream

This past year I’ve had some interesting dreams. More surprising is I remember many of them.

This one is still speaking…

before the dream :0)

before the dream :0)

DREAM – While I was unaware someone redid my landscaping (I actually had acreage). I noticed one little thing and walked further, I saw more was done – very professional and beautiful. They turned a wild area into sodded, retaining wall and it all looked so….perfect. They also created a small golf hole and putting green. (I thought – who is going to mow this?)

I felt violated.

Then at home or office – I entered a room filled with wrapped packages. I didn’t know how they got in or what was in the packages. I took all and tossed it out the door. He continued to follow and try to have gifts delivered. I wouldn’t accept them and kept pushing him away.

First impression – the “suitor” wanted to bless and win me but didn’t take time to know me. I’m pretty simple…good conversation, walk the beach kind of person…not about stuff.

Then I realized how much God really wants to give us.
How often do we say we’re not interested?
Ouch….

Do you dream?

In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your young will see visions.
Your elders will dream dreams.
Even upon my servants, men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
Acts 2:17-18 CEB

  1. Half of the fun of giving is a receptive receiver. I have had my excitement thwarted when I tried to give gifts. As God knows exactly how to bless us, this blog post is a dose of reality. I need to be more receptive to God.

    • He gives extravagantly! A friend just finished with 1000 gives by Ann Voskamp so that was phone discussion today. How often do we miss the little things and the big ones He wants to share with us. bless you Kris

powerful! Thank you for sharing this dream. It’s so amazing how God speaks to us in dreams, and reveals things to us we might otherwise ‘miss’…

  3. Thanks for sharing, this is food for thought. I dream intensely, and often have “impressions” of what is going to happen. My mother was that way, and a daughter is also. It is not much, just we think about someone and they call or show up or we sort of know that something is going to be, but not real strongly, just an impression. I am finding myself tuning in to those feeling more, but who knows???

    • I’m meeting more who have messages in dreams. I think some are very valid messages to us. I seem them not as a place to bring fear if a negative…but to pray for the opposite. God knows…peace to you Lucinda – thanks for sharing.
