clear as a bell

Not all things are “clear as a bell”.

I’ve taken time away to tune my ears a bit. Definitely helpful even though I’m unsure how the next verse will go.

Last week a group of 31 returned from Guatemala. It’s always a time of learning flexibility, grace, love, and listening to God’s promptings. As we gathered for group worship and devo time each day, we would share some God moments and be in awe of how He can use us in little ways that bring BIG impact.

Many of those little moments…we’ll never know how they change the world, if He’s leading, do them anyway.

Sunday’s teaching was from Hebrews 11 on Abraham. He didn’t see the fulfillment of all God spoke but WE are part of that promise…
“descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.”

We often try to make results happen instead of leaving them to God, The Maker of Heaven and Earth.

He’s been telling me to do my part and let Him do His.

Working at World Mission has taught me so much about doing what you can and God will take care of the rest. Little seeds are sown and perhaps in heaven we will really know how big those trees have grown:) You have sown a lot of seeds and it is so wonderful to hear about your journeys!

  2. We overlap again, friend. Abraham was our topic for last week’s bible study and Henry’s message yesterday. There is always richness when we look to God’s word. Always something to learn – again.

  3. “We often try to make results happen instead of leaving them to God, The Maker of Heaven and Earth. He’s been telling me to do my part and let Him do His.:” Amen. Me too. Grace and peace to you as you take the time to process and seek His heart for each day ahead. Blessings.
