a peek

Sometimes even a bad sunset is good.

Contemplating my errand, I noticed the sky was clear with a few wispy clouds. The beach was calling.

Toting camera, water, and journal I headed out thinking I had an hour before the sun would sink to the waters edge. The time was shortened as a dark cloud rolled up to meet the sun. But what a dance the kite boards were doing in the air and on the water as people were dodging the blowing sand.

I had a short bit of good light to continue my reading in Luke about Jesus sitting in a boat offshore to teach those around him…

Have you ever wondered how they could even hear him?

Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:10-11
