I love to give short titles to my paintings. It allows for imagination and pondering to take it to more levels.

Have you noticed God’s Word doesn’t share full stories?

What do you do when you are unsure what His Word means?

We use our imagination, simplify the text, seek opinions, dig in commentaries, and it still doesn’t make the sense we think it should.

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—

Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Eph 3:1-6

Paul is given a revelation on a mystery. His revelation concerns the salvation to the Gentiles. Daniel had a revelation for the mystery in dreams. Peter had a revelation that Jesus was truly the Son of the Living God.

Asking the “creator” is often the best way to get wisdom and understanding!

God is still revealing mysteries to those who will listen.
