joy for all

joyCan you imagine how life would be with people filled with joy everywhere you went?

I don’t mean one in a hundred…more like 9 out of 10.

Do you think that might change our world?

If we were to look at statistics everyday on health, poverty, and employment – we would get depressed. But I don’t feel JOY is dependent on circumstances. To me JOY is something deeper.

A hope that defies all surroundings.
A desire to hang on to what is good.

Don’t wait for circumstances to change to have joy. Decide to have it now. Circumstances are always changing and joy attracts great things.

I pray that God, the source of all hope, will infuse your lives with an abundance of joy and peace in the midst of your faith so that your hope will overflow through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 The Voice

Are you ready?
SPREAD THE JOY!

  1. “Don’t wait for circumstances to change to have joy. Decide to have it now. Circumstances are always changing and joy attracts great things.”- You are so right Judy! The Spirit always brings good things to the places where He is welcomed. When His fruit grows in our lives we become more and more blessed in spite of life’s circumstances but the blessing follows the fruit not vice versa.

  2. Thank you! This verse is the one the Lord keeps bringing to me over and over again (for about 6 wks now). I had not read this version, though.

Our hope is dependent on Jesus (who is faithful, eternal and never changes), and our joy comes as we are in His presence (and He never leaves us nor forsakes us but is always with us through His Spirit). Hallelujah!
