We often look so long on what is wrong we miss what is great.
We battle the darkness but forget to bring oil for our lamps.
We seek knowledge about Jesus yet never know ourselves as His beloved.
Being in this world and not of it may seem a difficult line to straddle but God shares such amazing tools with us.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:14-15
It's not really about me... 
With recent turmoils in our country, I’ve been reminded of the verse from John in particular. What comfort that gives to be reminded that He has overcome the world!
He knows all yet asks us to be a part of it too…whether in person or in prayer!
Well said. May our focus facilitate peace in our lives rather than anxiety.
Thank you Lord that You give us great guidance in Your word – Whatever is good, perfect, pleasing, dwell on these things. Thank you that You give us authority to call things that are not as though they were. We pray for PEACE and LOVE to be what is seen through Your people Lord. That we would walk in Your ways and be united in Your purposes. Bless you Joe!
