Whoever came up with that marketing plan anyway?? (Verizon…yes, we sell you things that are outdated before you buy them.) I’m still on a non-digital plan… but it makes me think of how NEW many things will be in Haiti since I haven’t been in two years. These little girls are not so little anymore!
Next week, I’ll seem even more behind with very limited internet, no regular phone or electric – I love to unplug!!
As I get even busier preparing, I asked God what needed to change and surprised to hear “stop writing.” I assume I start again when I return but the coming two weeks I’ll do some reposts. Facebook might get some action on Haitian Artisans or my personal page if I can connect but know I’ll be thinking of you all!
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.” John 14
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
Trust and Obey – Lyrics: John Sammis, 1887. Composer: Daniel Towner, 1887
